Mint leaves can also be added along with Tulsi leaves/powder for that extra flavour. It also makes healthy cold ice Tulsi tea. Procedure remains same. For ice tea, don’t add milk and after sieving the tea solution allow it to cool. Then add ice and serve.
It can also be prepared with normal Tulsi leaves grown at home. Boil one cup of water, and then add nicely washed 8-10 Tulsi leaves. The color of water would slightly change to light green. Now add very little regular tea powder boil for another 2-3 minutes. Add sugar or artificial sweetener and milk as required. Sieve it and it is set to drink. In case someone does not want milk than after adding sugar boil for another 2-3 minutes and sieve it. Before drinking add 4-5 drop of fresh lemon juice. It enhances the flavor of tea and also is very good for health.
